Mysore also has one of India’s oldest zoo’s that is home to a variety of animals where you can also have an elephant ride. Go to the Brindavan gardens and enjoy the beautiful display that waits. People from all over India come here to see the fountains that shoot water to the sound of music. As you continue your journey with us, you will also visit the beautiful hill stations of the south, Conoor ​and Ooty. They are known for their unique flora and fauna. Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bangalore & Drive To Mysore

  • Arrive Bangalore Airport. Meet our chauffeur waiting for you and proceed towards Mysore.
  • En-route visit Srirangapatnam an island in the river Kaveri. The attractions in Srirangapatnam includes Dariya Daulat Palace (Summer Palace) that is set amidst beautiful gardens called Daria Daulat Bagh. The palace is built in the Indo-Sarcenic style in mostly made of teakwood.
  • Gumbaz is surrounded by the beautiful garden the Lalbagh. Inside the tomb Hyader Ali has been laid to rest in the middle and on either side are the tombs of his wife and son. Tippu's tiger stripes cover the walls of the Gumbaz.
  • Tippu Fort: It is is from the Fort that Tippu launched his attack against the British. There is an obelisk in the fort in the place where he died, after being betrayed by his own men. Inside the fort there is a mosque and the RanganathaswamyTemple.
  • The Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangapatna enshrines Lord Vishnu as Ranganatha. This enormous temple has fort like walls and an intricately carved gopuram. The architecture is a mixture of the Hoysala and Vijayanagar styles.
  • Upon arrival @ Mysore check in at Hotel.
  • Later in the evening visit to Chamundeswari Temple.
  • Overnight @ Mysore

Day 2: Mysore Sightseeing

  • After leisure Breakfast, visit the Mysore Zoo it was started by chamaraja Wodeyar X initially as a private Zoo. The Zoo has about 1500 animals, ranging from the opossum to orangutan. This Zoo houses a wide range of animals. Mysuru Zoo was the first in the country to obtain gorilla and penguin’s.
  • Later proceed for the famous Mysore Palace (or Maharaja's Palace). This historical, royal place of residence of the Wadiyars is a splendid architectural feat and houses some of the artifacts from the historic times.
  • The Palace is set in carefully laid out gardens. It is a beautiful three storied stone building of fine gray granite and rich pink marble domes, overlooking this structure is a five-storied 145 foot tower whose domes are gilded in gold.
  • In the evening visit to Krishna Raja Sagara Dam built over the River Cauvery near to the conjunction of three rivers namely, Cauvery, Hemavathi & Lakshmana Thirtha.
  • Get mesmerised by colorful & stunning Brindavan Gardens known for its symmetric design and illuminated terrace gardens.
  • Explore shopping as Mysore is also an ideal destination for buying Sandalwood products & Silk sarees.
  • Return to hotel for overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Drive To Ooty

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Later checkout & drive to Ooty.
  • Drive pass the beautiful forests of Bandipur National Park & the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • This drive through lush dense forests, tall pines trees and a string of tea estates will leave you mesmerised.
  • Reach Ooty and check-in to your hotel &relax for the day.
  • Overnight stay at Ooty hotel.

Day 4: Ooty Sightseeing

  • Post breakfast get assistance and proceed for full day local sightseeing tour at Ooty covering Doddabetta Peak & Tea Museum.
  • Doddabetta Peak - one of the highest mountains in the Nilgiris surrounded by a reserved forest and lush greenery. Get a bird’s eye view of Ooty from the peak. Visit the telescope house to get a good view of the surrounding valleys and hills including the “Chamundi Hills”.
  • Visit Tea Museum and learn about the origin of different kinds of tea leaves. Appreciate the method of tea processing by CTC (Cut, Twist and Curl) machines and buy specially crafted tea souvenirs.
  • Proceed to Tea Estate View Point snap photographs and make it as a memorable moment in your lifetime.
  • In the evening proceed to Ooty Lake - an artificial Lake & one of the famous tourist spots in Ooty. Indulge in shopping around Ooty lake for chocolates, shawls, eucalyptus oil etc.
  • Later proceed to hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Ooty hotel.

Day 5: Coonoor Excursion

  • After breakfast proceed to Coonoor to cover interesting places such as Sim's Park, Lamb's Rock, Dolphin Nose, Tea factory & Tea Gardens.
  • Sim’s Park is one of the main attractions covering an area of over 12 hectares, is park- cum-botanical garden, which was laid more than a hundred years ago. The garden is fully surrounded by the shrubs and creepers. Queensland Karry Pine, Rudraksha (the bead tree) and Handsome Ornamental tree are famous in Sim's park. One of the trees present in the garden is over 200 hundred years old and is a special attraction within the garden. On one side of the park is present the rose garden where several species of roses are planted side by side. There is also a glass house housing different ornamental plants and flowers.
  • Secondly visit Lamb’s Rock a view point named after the collector Captain Lamb. The view point was accessible by the effort & interest of Captain Lamb. Lamb's Rock, offers an amazing view of the lush green forests and the Hulical ravines. One can even go for trekking through the lush tree gardens.
  • Dolphin's nose is one of the most scenic view point. This is a huge rock a dolphin’s nose. Watching a sunset of sunrise from Dolphin's Nose is nothing less than an ethereal experience, for the sheer beauty of it all. Well, at 1000 feet above the sea level, you can't expect anything less than that, with hairpin turns and breath stopping narrow roads, the road to Dolphin's Nose is as fascinating as the place.
  • The Tea Factory a two storey building, has tea leaves driers on the second floor, while the walls are splattered with the history of tea and the art of tea making via paintings and more.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6: Drive To Bangalore

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Checkout & drive to Bangalore (350kms/7hrs).
  • Enroute visit Pykara Lake and Pyakara Falls. The road goes through a beautifully forested stretch to reach here. You need to walk half-a-kilometre from the road head to reach the falls. The falls themselves do not conform to the usual notion of a vertically falling stream of water. The stream tumbles down a cascading tract of rocks, which is located in a bowl-shaped utterly green valley that will take your breath away.
  • Continue your drive to Bangalore & overnight.

Day 7: Bangalore Sightseeing & Drop

  • After leisure breakfast, drive past the major tourist attraction like Lal bagh & Vidhana Soudha.
  • Later transferred to Bangalore Airport & Drop
