Cancellation & Refund Policy

The package once booked is refundable and cancellable.

  • Date of booking to 30 days before travel the cancellation charges will be 10% of the tour cost
  • 30 to 15 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost
  • 15 to 7 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 75% of the tour cost
  • 0 to 7 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 100% of the tour cost. No refund shall be given

Please note cancellation policy is subject to change. It depends on the hotel policy. In peak season, some hotels may charge 100% cancellation.

In case of no show - 100% of package price will be applicable as cancellation charges.

If the specified booking is non-refundable (under 100% cancellation) from the day of booking itself irrespective of duration before departure then 100% cancellation charged would be applicable overriding the above conditions.

Loss/Damage
The company is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the stay in the hotel or while traveling in the coach/cab. Due to theft or loss of baggage, tour participant can lodge a complaint with the local authorities on his/her sole discretion, cost, risk, and consequences.

Refund

If the tour or any part thereof cannot be used due to some reasons GetAway Tours shall not be responsible to give any refund to you.

However, at its sole discretion, GetAway Tours gives the refund based on various factors like the number of participants, the cancellation policies of suppliers like Airlines, hoteliers, Cab & Coach operators, Guides, etc. the decision of GetAway Tours on the quantum of refund shall be final. It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund whatsoever if the Client does not or cannot utilize any of the services like hotels, sightseeing, rides, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc due to any reason whatsoever.

Refund payments will be processed within 20 days of cancellation date and amount is payable as per cancellation policy.

No refund will be payable

For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to whatsoever reason. 

Where full deposit is required to be paid in advance to the concerned authorities to enable the Company to confirm the reservation 

If services of the tour are modified, varied, amended, cancelled or not utilized. 

If any guest decides and / or is required to cancel the tour due to any changes made in the rules by the concerned Government. 

If the tour is indefinitely postponed due to a natural calamity, riots, political calamities or any other unforeseen calamities. 

For all Card payments - Payment received by Cards and if there is any refund, such refund will be done through the respective cards Financial Institutions and credited to the same card. The charges for transaction to be borne by the guests.
